Love Notes from Catalina

Love notes from Catalina Island off the coast of California are just a few of the things I want to share with you this week.  We recently returned from this idyllic spot just in time to experience the arrival of fall weather here in Colorado. We loved the warm sunshine and ocean views (see photo) and I also enjoy the cool fall Denver weather as well – my husband not so much. He’s happy to be in a tropical climate all the time. So what love notes am I talking about? Read on to find out more about sustaining love regardless of your location. P.S. I still need your help in selecting my new book title. Be sure to click the link located in the body of the blog post, if you haven’t already.

Gayla Wick|Love Coach|Author|SpeakerLove Note 1: We recently enjoyed a ferry boat ride from Long Beach to Catalina Island – one of my favorite activities. The views were often spectacular and the ocean was beautiful and fairly calm on the catamaran. We had a relaxing day strolling through the picturesque town and even rented a golf cart to explore the hilly terrain.  This was another new joint activity we hope to repeat in the future. During our time in California I talked with an acquaintance who said she and her husband had lived in this area with a great view of Catalina, but had never taken the time to visit. I know it’s easy to get caught in a rut and forget to schedule something new and possibly adventurous as a couple, but remember - enjoying new activities together can keep the spark in your love relationship alive.

Love Note 2: This post may sound like I am focused only on couples, but I’m not forgetting all of my single readers.  You may have been in a previous love relationship or marriage that fell into the common pitfall of the same boring routine week after week and month after month. This is a gentle reminder to take time to share new activities and adventures, before boredom sets in. Dating is an especially good time to change up the routine to get to know each other better and set the tone for your future togetherness. It’s OK to have satisfying routines as long as they are punctuated with new activities from time to time. Singles - please don’t wait to be part of a couple to plan something you want to do. You never know who you might meet on one of your outings.  Remember to smile, relax and enjoy yourself. This is the secret to attracting the attention of a possible partner.

If you want to know more about what keeps couples thriving read my recent blog post: Love in Action.

If you want to know more about how to attract the love you desire contact me for a complimentary conversation about how I can help you realize your dream of attracting the love of your life!

Until Next time remember: Couples who play together are more likely to stay together.

P.S. I’d love to hear from you. Send your questions or add your comments below.
